About the Conference

The Department of Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mechanics, IIEST Shibpur, is proud to host the International Conference on Advances in Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mechanics (ICAAEAM 2026).

This five-day event brings together researchers, scientists, engineers, and industry professionals for knowledge exchange, research presentations, and discussions on advanced aerospace engineering and applied mechanics. The conference includes keynote talks, technical sessions, poster presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

About IIEST, Shibpur

Established in 1856, IIEST Shibpur is one of India’s oldest engineering institutions and an Institute of National Importance. The institute is known for excellence in engineering education and research, with collaborations across India and the world.

About the Department

Combines a long-standing tradition in Engineering Mechanics with modern Aerospace Engineering education. Established originally as Applied Mechanics in 1947 and renamed in 2008, it equips students through strong theoretical foundations and practical, hands-on experiences in well-equipped labs.
